Every true devotee of Shri Gajanan Maharaj has the urge of going to shegaon at least once a year. But due to some unavoidable reasons it becomes difficult for them to fulfil their desire.

To facilitate this, Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sanskrutik Mahamandal organizes “ShegaonYatra”for the past 23 years.
It is very difficult to book return tickets from Mumbai to Shegaon. Trains that ply on this route are mostly overbooked.
Hence the facilities of travel bookings, food expenses and stay are taken care by the trust, against a nominal cost.
The mandir does not make any profit out of any programmes that it carries out. This is a pure form of bhakti and seva form the mandir employees towards Gajanan Maharaj.
The specialty of this yatra being, ladies, old people and newborns are taken special care of during this yatra. The yatra started as gajanan maharaj shegaon darshan but, later on became famous by the name of " chaar dhaam yatra ".
After the darshan of Gajanan Maharaj, Bhau maharaj takes all the devotees to visit the most important 4 places in shegaon. Bankat sadan, Vadache zhaad, Mote Shiv Mandir and Maruti Mandir. All these places were touched by the divine feet of Shri. Gajanan Mharaj.
Bhau Maharaj accompanies the yatra, and sees to it that all the bhakt's are getting involved in the yatra. He also, discloses many rare facts about gajanan manaraj which pleases every bhakt and gives peace of mind.
